    CONSTRUCTION

    • Pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down. The back is worked flat to the underarm with short rows to shape the shoulders and then placed on hold. Stitches are picked up for both fronts from back shoulders and worked flat simultaneously to the base of the v- or crew neck, when fronts are joined and worked together flat to the underarm, with an optional triangle detail for the crew neck. The garment is folded along the shoulder and the front and back are joined into the round to be worked circularly for the remainder of the body. The body is worked circularly to the hem. Tapered body shaping may be worked during this time. Sleeve stitches are picked up around each armhole and the sleeves are worked circularly to the cuff. The sleeve shaping is worked according to knitter’s preference for a classic- or slim-fit sleeve. The neckband is picked up and worked circularly in 1x1 ribbing during finishing.
