“Conceptually, I wanted this hat to be as big and chunky as possible – making a statement without becoming a helmet. I kept adding more and more strands of yarn (ultimately using four) to achieve just the right fabric I was after. A turned-hem brim and simple cable repeat completes the look. You can wear this hat pushed back to create some fashionable slouch or pulled down snugly over the forehead for more warmth.” – Julie Hoover
