Driftwood is the perfect knockaround sweater for Fall – with an oversized fit, luxurious ribbed turtleneck and a soft, squishable stitch pattern, you’ll love wearing this at home or on the go. Because the Loop Stitch is denser than regular stockinette stitch, you will work the body fabric of the garment on a larger-than-average needle for a worsted weight yarn; this is necessary to create the supple cushion-like fabric that makes this sweater so irresistible.

  • Approximately 1515 (1650, 1835, 1985, 2170, 2325) yards of worsted weight wool yarn

  • Working Gauge: 18 stitches & 36 rows = 4″ in Loop Pattern Stitch with Gauge Needle, before blocking
  • Finished Gauge: 17 stitches & 34 rows = 4″ in Loop Pattern Stitch with Gauge Needle, after blocking
  • Gauge Needle: One 32″ or 40” circular needle and one 16” circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed
  • One set of four or five DPNs in size needed to obtain gauge listed
  • Suggested Size: 6 mm (US 10)
