Product description

Make a sweeping statement in a knee-length color-blocked coat with vintage appeal. Rivage’s minimal details let the color do the talking, and the light fabric of Loft won’t weigh you down. Exaggerated drop shoulders make layering easy and comfortable, and gentle waist shaping fine-tunes the fit. Very short bands of ribbing on the cuffs, collar edge, and hem prevent the stockinette fabric from rolling. A slipped-stitch edge with a purl gutter provides a neat finish on both sides of the work so the collar can lie tidily open — though it can also be styled in a variety of alternate ways; close it in a loose round fold with a pin at the collarbone for a Sixties look. The garment is knit flat and seamed, with the collar worked from a combination of live stitches and picked-up stitches.
